OPEN POSITIONS
SOUS CHEF
As a Sous, you will be an important part of the team, as we regrow this restaurant, there will be great opportunities to grow and adapt with us. As a revived concept in downtown Phoenixville, we will produce an array of top quality small bites, and bar food. with nearly 100 seats, we plan to see medium volume in food sales. We offer competitive pay, varying with experience and depth of knowledge. We are seeking both full time and part-time team members who wish to become an important part of something new, and grow with us as we expand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

Prepare ingredients to use for the line(following standard recipes)

Check freshness and quality of ingredients

Assist in the development of menu items

Standardize recipes and plate presentations
-
Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
-
Must be willing to work evening and weekend shifts

Passion for food and cooking techniques

Strong leadership qualities
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Must be organized and self-motivated

Ability to read and follow cooking directions

Understanding of cooking methods and procedures, and knife handling skills
Cooks will operate under the Chef to test and master the various menu items. All Cook positions will report directly to the Executive Chef to ensure a smooth operation.
