Kandi Jones has been playing in and around the Philly area for the past 3 years, blasting out a mix of textures and tempos which echo the decades of combined experience between its members. Fusing elements from the original incarnations of punk rock & new wave with pop music, they rip through sets packed with everything from bouncy punkish originals to re-tooled & re-invented covers of such modern pop icons as Brittany, Taylor, & Demi. Basically this is what you get when you take 3 veteran musicians from seminal 80's Philly/NYC punk rock bands and add in a firecracker frontwoman who plays and sings whatever she likes with zero regard for genres or labels.
