Kates Casa Fundraiser!

On Thursday 11/11, Kate's Casa makes a wish... and you can be part of helping it come true! This Phoenixville-based NPO benefits low-income immigrant families, with the goal of saving up to purchase a mixed-use property for housing, donated goods collection, and ESL workshops.  The Soundbank presents an evening of singer-songwriter pals performing to help meet this goal, with a lineup including Beech Dream, Cole Campbell, and Matt Cummins of the Walkabouts! (Suggested donation is $10 at the door for admission.) 7pm -- Matt Cummins

Kate's Casa is a tax exempt nonprofit organization, with 501(c)(3) status, and was developed to create a partnership between cultures in our community with the goal of empowering immigrants, while simultaneously helping to meet the basic needs of immigrant families.

Currently we are saving money for a property to better support immigrant families. We will focus on newly arrived immigrant families, single women with children, and unaccompanied minors. We will have to start out small, but hope to provide housing that is affordable, along with a spot to store clothing/household goods, etc, and also hope to run programs/classes like adult ESL. This fundraiser, others like it, and additional donations will contribute to our future down payment on this property.
