228 Presents: V-Day Weekend Adult Prom

Dress to impress, mask up & get dirty as 228 Productions presents Soundbank's first adult prom celebrating everyone's favorite (or not) heart-shaped holiday, featuring extended sets by raucous Philly rockers DIRTY SOAP, plus guest opener FAUNA FINCH... and don't forget the spiked punch!

DIRTY SOAP's founding members Spoon Ferguson and Thomas Martin met in high school and quickly formed a musical bond. Blending Spoon's raw vocals, affinity for traditional Blues, and unique guitar stylings (he plays left handed with inverted strings) with Thomas' smooth Doo-wop approach and catchy song writing. The name Dirty Soap represents these opposing styles. Over the years they crafted their unique sound on Philly street corners and parks - dubbing themselves "Doo-wop Punks." http://www.dirtysoapmusic.com/

FAUNA FINCH is a singer/songwriter and recording artist from Philadelphia, and a recurring guest at Soundbank's 3rd Thursday acoustic showcases.  http://faunafinch.com/
