When + Where

Mar 16, 2023, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Phoenixville, 119 S Main St, Phoenixville, PA 19460, USA

228 Productions invites you, one day before the gutters of Phoenixville run green with assorted fluids, to enjoy a brief respite at The Soundbank for the latest round of local & visiting acoustic talent -- March's 3rd-sday Showcase -- featuring sets by Ethan Flynn, Jared Knapik, Colin Pound, Dani & Joe, and 2Hill!

(Lineup listed in order of play)

2HILL is an American musician/poet/lyricist/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, and performer -- primarily a guitar player/songwriter who also enjoys experimenting with drums, bass, vocals, keyboards & organs. 2Hill has appeared in such bands as Kamakaze, The Blakk Diamond Band, and Dirty Soap.

Philadelphia based DANI & JOE are songwriting sweethearts who, after years as supporting members in other prominent Philly bands, hit the scene under their own names in 2020 with the release of 'All for You.' Their beginnings grew out of small intimate shows and the music carries that tradition compositionally. Joni-style folk collage storytelling meets experimental R&B with a Black Keys makeup.

COLIN POUND used to stomp and holler around the stages of Phoenixville with the Bellwether District. After spending 12 years away in New Orleans he is back and better than ever!

Pulling as much influence from the punk bands he discovered in his adolescence, as from the '50s rock 'n' roll playing in the house as a kid, JARED KNAPIK has honed a unique and distinguishable sound all his own. Taking pages from the books of esteemed acts such as Dashboard Confessional and The Gaslight Anthem, Jared's catalog simultaneously sounds familiar and refreshing, with his latest release -- 2022's "Never Said" EP -- best exemplifying his poignant songwriting.

After many failed clinical trials, ETHAN FLYNN is best known for inventing the hamster parachute. Now, he shares his journey through song.

$5 admission; all-ages welcome. Show runs 7-10pm(ish) with half-hour sets. Door starts 6pm; kitchen & bar open 5pm for happy hour. Thanks for supportin' the scene, and catch a different & musically diverse spectrum of acoustic acts every 3rd Thursday at The Soundbank!
