228 Presents: March 3rds-day Showcase!

Whose idea was it to schedule a 3rd-sday showcase on St Pat's Night? Oh yeah... That ol' Gregorian calendar. It's also your luck that 228 Productions crammed in FOUR returning and visiting acoustic musical pals for half-hour sets of original material in Soundbank's listening room atmosphere, including Paintcan, Bright Kelly, Stone Cold Grace, and Mighty Joe Castro!

PAINTCAN is the artistic nom de plume of Phillip McKenna, perhaps the longest-running veteran of these 3rd-sday showcases! Paintcan plays songs about things, possibly lonely robots, and has threatened to get "all Irish-y" with this installment. We don't know what to expect, honestly.

BRIGHT KELLY, dubbed the Gritty City Bard by his listener community, combines a raspy voice and indie pop arrangements with introspective lyricism and a wild stage presence. STONE COLD GRACE is the solo folk project of 22-year-old Sara Johnson. Hailing from South Jersey, Johnson writes about trying to decipher the mystery of the human experience. https://stonecoldgrace.bandcamp.com
